GM Holden launches historic American brand Cadillac, without cars to sell until 200916 Oct 2008 By PHILIP LORD CADILLAC took advantage of the absence of key luxury competitors at the Sydney motor show last week by officially launching the brand in Australia – even though it has no cars to sell until next year. Originally due here in September, the Cadillac CTS sedan will now arrive early next year. GM Premium Brands director Parveen Batish said the initial plan of a September release was delayed as the Sydney show was chosen as an “ideal time” to launch the brand. The CTS wagon is still to be officially confirmed for Australia, while the coupe is due on sale late next year.
