GM Daewoo reveals two new diesels for S3X concept, due in Holden showrooms in 20065 Dec 2005 GM DAEWOO will produce both standard and high-performance versions of the new 2.0-litre four-valve SOHC turbo-diesel engine that will debut in the S3X concept-based "Captiva" large 4WD next year. Still to be confirmed (but a likely starter) for Holden's version of the S3X due on sale in Australia next year, the Euro4-compliant common-rail diesel engine will be offered in fixed geometry turbo (FGT) form, developing 88kW at 4000rpm and 280Nm at 2000rpm, and in higher-performing variable geometry turbo (VGT) guise, turning out 110kW at 4000rpm and 310Nm at 2000rpm. It will be built at a new powertrain plant in Gunsan, South Korea.
