New models - LDV - T60LDV discounts T60 ute by up to $2500Chinese importer to stave off one-tonne ute competition with aggressive driveaway pricing15 Nov 2025 SITTING at tenth place in the local one-tonne ute sales pecking order and with numerous new entrants flooding the market (including the unibody LDV Terron 9), LDV Australia has moved to sure-up its position through further discounting its T60 range by between $2000-$2500 grade dependent.
The Chinese brand, handled here by the Ateco Group, offers the discount on all three, automatic-only T60 ute variants starting at $36,990 driveaway for the Pro Max entry model and follows a similar strategy in February this year.
The deal, for ABN holders, runs until the end of December (or while stocks last) and means, with a $2000 discount, the MY25 T60 Pro Max automatic returns to 2023 prices.
The MY25 Pro Max is the updated version introduced earlier this year with 3500kg braked towing capacity and additional safety technology, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, a high-definition rear-view camera and electronic power steering.
Other changes included the addition of digital radio frequencies, and black roof rails.
The range topping MY25 LDV T60 Max Plus – which was redesigned last year with a new front fascia, high-definition 360-degree cameras and 3500kg towing capability – is available from $42,990 driveaway representing a saving of $2500.
And lastly, the long wheelbase ‘Mega Tub’ version of the MY25 LDV T60 Max Plus is available from $43,990 driveaway again, $2500 off.
LDV Australia says the T60 Pro Max is one of Australia’s most affordable double-cab utes, and one of the most powerful four-cylinder diesels in the segment (160kW/500Nm) and “is now even better value with the limited-time offer”.
In a statement, the general manager of LDV Australia, Dinesh Chinnappa said “LDV has always represented value, but this limited-time offer takes our value proposition to a new level”.
“This is the sharpest price we have applied to date on the updated MY25 LDV T60 Pro Max,” he added.
“With the summer holidays approaching we are well placed to serve customers looking for a new ute. However, the offer ends 31 December 2025, while stock lasts.”
The MY25 LDV T60 range arrived in showrooms at the start of 2025 reduced from eight variants to three with a focus on the three most popular variants, manual transmission deleted concurrently.
All three T60 utes run a bi-turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine rated at 160kW/500Nm paired to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and are fitted with four-wheel disc brakes.
“The ute market is highly competitive in Australia, and we remain committed to offering customers a range of vehicles at the value end of the segment,” continued Mr Chinnappa.
“While the MY25 upgrades bring advanced safety and other technology to the LDV T60 range, we remain committed to offer vehicles at prices that people can afford, delivering a level of grunt that few diesel utes can match for the money.”
