Mazda CX-60 priced from $50,240

Updated 2025 Mazda CX-60 SUV to launch with special introductory pricing, new grades

5 May 2025

MAZDA Australia says it is refining its all-hybrid CX-60 SUV with a comprehensive suite of updates from this month (May), confirming the model will arrive with “abundant levels of equipment, technical revisions and an incredible value proposition across the board”.

Two new grades will join the CX-60 line-up, including the entry-level Pure from $50,240 plus on-road costs and the Touring – which sits between the Evolve and GT variants – from $58,230 + ORC.

Additionally, the entry grade G40e Pure will be introduced with special drive-away pricing from launch, available nationally from $53,990 d/a.

All CX-60 grades are available in conjunction with any of Mazda’s all-hybrid powertrains – the G40e inline-six turbocharged petrol 48V MHEV, D50e inline-six turbocharged diesel 48V MHEV or the P50e 2.5-litre plug-in hybrid.

For the CX-60, Mazda quotes fuel consumption from as low as 2.1 litres per 100km (P50e), 5.0L/100km (D50e), and 7.4L/100km (G40e). The plug-in hybrid (P50e) variant also offers up to 76km of electric-only range.

Key to the CX-60’s upgrades are changes to the rear suspension – said to enhance comfort and stability – incorporating softer springs and firmer dampers aligned with recalibrated stability control settings.

Further, the Skyactiv-Drive eight-speed automatic transmission has also been revised for 2025, with clutch control improvements now resulting in what Mazda says is a “smoother and more responsive combustion-engine-to-electric motor transition” and “a wider gear range for the best balance of enjoyable driving dynamics and environmental performance”.

Elsewhere, we find technology and safety upgrades including front cross-traffic alert, cruising and traffic support, and a 360-degree camera system with see-through function (on Evolve, Touring, and GT grades).

Evolve and Touring variants further offer driver monitoring as standard fare, along with the inclusion of a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Adaptive LED headlights arrive on the GT grade.

For the 2025 Mazda CX-60 Pure (from $50,240 + ORC) we find as standard a 10.25-inch infotainment array, 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 18-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree camera system, 7.0-inch multi-information display (six-cylinder variants only), eight-speaker sound, DAB+ digital radio reception, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, cloth upholstery, eight-way powered driver seat adjustment, dual-zone climate control, auto-folding wing mirrors, leather shift knob and steering wheel rim, LED headlights, native sat nav, and more.

The Evolve grade (from $55,240 + ORC) builds on the specification of the Pure variant with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera system with see-through function, synthetic leather upholstery, powered tailgate, and wireless device charging pad.

The new-for-2025 Touring grade (from $58,240 + ORC) adds leather upholstery, wing mirror memory, heated front seats, powered passenger seat adjustment, driver seat memory function, and rear-seat console with LED light.

Next in line is the GT variant (from $64,240 + ORC) which adds 20-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, body-coloured wheel arches and lower cladding, darkened model badging, electric steering column adjustment, gloss black wing mirrors and grille, heated outboard rear seats, panoramic sunroof, and Bose 12-speaker sound.

Finally, the flagship Azami grade (from $68,440 + ORC) adds Nappa leather upholstery, body-coloured wing mirrors, bright model badging, footwell lightning, frameless rear-view mirror, bar-type grille, and ventilated front seats.

The Azami grade is further available with a choice of two option packages – Takumi and SP (both $2000) – the former adding white Nappa leather upholstery, bright garnishing, cloth dashboard upper, and white Maple console and door card inlays; and the latter tan Nappa leather upholstery, black alloy wheels, dark-coloured side signature, gloss black grille and wing mirrors, darkened headlights, suede dashboard upper, and two-tone steering wheel rim.

Stylistically, the CX-60 is unchanged, the only alteration being the availability of Zircon Sand metallic paint as a new option, bringing the total number of paint choices to eight.

“Our new CX-60 Pure opens up the option for even more customers to enjoy the power, performance and poise that the rear-biased chassis and dynamic engine range brings at an extremely compelling price point, while the entire CX-60 range now benefits from the very latest and greatest in Mazda technology, comfort and safety,” said Mazda Australia managing director Vinesh Bhindi.

“This wholesale evolution of the CX-60 is much, much more than skin-deep, and is another shining example of the commitment to continuous improvement that Mazda is famed for.”
