Nissan Genuine Accessories gain 10-year warranty

NISSAN has announced that it will extend its 10-year/300,000km new vehicle warranty to include a wide range of dealer fit Nissan Genuine Accessories.

The generous warranty extension is said to underscore the reliability of Nissan Genuine Accessories, all of which are manufactured to offer “seamless integration, optimal performance, and the confidence that comes with the understanding that every item is developed to fit your vehicle perfectly”.

In further highlighting the benefits of choosing Nissan Genuine Accessories, Nissan Oceania director of aftersales Michael Hill said the parts offer “numerous benefits that aftermarket alternatives simply can’t match”, including rigorous testing to both Nissan and ADR Compliance Standards, tried and tested vehicle protection and capability, and maintenance of vehicle resale value.

“Our Genuine Accessories are designed with the Australian driver in mind,” he said.

“We understand that our customers want to personalise their vehicles while maintaining quality and safety standards. With Nissan Genuine Accessories, there is no compromise.

Nissan’s 10-year/300,000km service activated warranty arrives as part of the Nissan More ownership program, providing Nissan customers “long-term support and peace of mind”.

Nissan says that when Nissan Genuine Accessories are purchased and fitted at the time of new vehicle purchase by an Authorised Nissan Dealer, they are covered by Nissan’s up to 10-year/300,000km warranty (whichever occurs first).

For accessories purchased after vehicle delivery and fitted by an Authorised Nissan Dealer, coverage includes either Nissan’s 12 month/20,000km warranty (whichever occurs first) or the remainder of Nissan’s up to 10-year/300,000km new vehicle warranty, whichever provides greater protection.
